Bunch of Patches :D

It’s been quiet on the posting front for a few days (as I have been swamped with stuff and things), but fear not as the stitchy peeps at the Gym have been…well, stitching 😛

Today I have for you four (4) complete patches! 😀 We have: Doduo/Dodrio by annelotje, Rhyhorn/Rhydon by lijnloos, Magikarp/Gyarados and Spearow/Fearow, both by Holder of Anime.

Well done to those awesome peoples! Their patches bring our current total to 32, and that’s more than a third of the patches complete!

Yep, that’s right. Three! 😀

Bulbasaur Set & Magmar ~complete~

More complete patches! Here we have Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur by Brityboo and Magmar by Kareesh. Well done!

So, that brings us to 25 complete patches. I know there are a few more that are finished, but we’re just waiting on the pictures! 😀

~Gym News~

Well, there’s been a bit of time passed since the last completed patches and it almost seems like nothing’s happening…but I know that people are stitching when (and where) they can!

Hoping to see the first completion from HeathyChan in the next few days – she’s given me a sneak preview of her Magnemite/Magneton and I can say it’s looking excellent! She only started stitching in April, but she’s taken to it really quickly! 😀
Brityboo‘s Bulbasaur evolution set is coming along very well, too, and that will look great when done.
I’m working on Tentacool/Tentacruel (or I would be, if I wasn’t posting this!) – which I hope will be just as good as all the other patches 😉
And of course there will be more patches popping up shortly…

In other news…

The logo patch has been chosen – congratulations to Penwen and his very nice design!

He’ll receive a prize, a forum badge and general kudos among the group…not to mention that his design will be the 81st patch on the quilt!

No doubt there’ll be something to post very soon, so please check back often! ❤

Growlithe/Arcanine and Staryu/Starmie

Two more patches complete – Growlithe/Arcanine by powergirl and Staryu/Starmie by blackmageheart – me!

That brings us to 21 complete patches!! I know that many people are working hard on the rest of their patches and they are looking great so far. Check out the WIP gallery for the latest progress pictures!

Elites, Birds and Rocks!!

Sounds like it could be a band name to me…but it’s the three latest complete Gen. I patches!!

Here we have Craftymaster90’s Agatha/Lance, Brityboo’s Pidgey evo and Anna Marie’s Geodude evo – congrats to all! 😀

These three patches bring our total to 19!

In other news…

Voting has begun on the submitted designs for the logo patch! We have five contenders, and voting ends in two weeks’ time! The winner will receive a prize as well as seeing their patch design go into the Gen I quilt! 😀
